Important Notice Regarding Potential Canada Post Strike

Impact of Potential Canada Postal Service Strike

To Our Valued Customers,

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers is currently in negotiations which is likely to result in a strike starting November 15th, 2024. We understand that a labour disruption may cause interruptions to your business operations, particularly with regard to mail deliveries locally and remote. At Custom Courier, we are committed to supporting your local delivery and last-mile delivery needs in any way we can during this time.

Alternative Payment Options

If you currently pay our invoices by mailed cheque, please be aware that mail stoppages may cause significant delays. To avoid any disruptions in processing your payments, we highly encourage you to sign up for Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), or pay via e-transfer, both of which offer a secure and convenient alternative.

How to Set Up EFT

To get started with EFT, please contact your financial institution. For Custom Courier’s banking information, you can reach out to our Accounts Receivable team at accountsreceivable@customcourier.ca. We can provide a void cheque upon request.

Payment via E-Transfer

If paying via e-transfer, please send all transfers to accounting@customcourier.ca and include a message noting which invoice numbers are being paid.

Free Local Cheque Pick-Up

For your convenience, we are offering free local pick-up of cheques during this period. If you would like to arrange a pick-up, please email us at accountsreceivable@customcourier.ca or call us at 306-653-8500.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this time. We remain committed to ensuring that your deliveries and payments are processed smoothly.
